The AM8121-1F20-0000 is a powerful three-phase synchronous motor of the AM8100 series with built-in permanent magnet exciter which is specifically suitable for high-dynamic industrial servo systems. The IC828, a BLDC motor, operates satisfactorily within a voltage range of 24 to 48 V DC supplying an uninterrupted standstill and rated torque of 0.50 Nm and a maximum torque of 2 Nm which makes it suitable where dynamic control is needed. Modern industrial applications range from hard disk drives to electric vehicles dominating the battery of system products in energy efficient vehicles.
The motor is uniquely applicable in tasks of high rated speed at 3000 min-1 and at a rate power of 0.16 kW which is very applicable in operation of systems like industrial robots and machines selling lines where by stability has to be regarded and rapid response needed. The motor equipped with high energy neodymium permanent magnet possesses higher performance in dynamics due to placement of the rotor. The rotor moment of inertia being 0.134 kgcm² allows for rapid behavioral changes in motion as either or both of angular momentum and motion direction themselves.
The AM8121-1F20-0000 offers various motor feedback options. The feedback data may also be ordered over the same Motor Cable which was used to supply power to the motor, eliminating additional wiring overhead. It is cooled by natural convection and is normally used within ambient temperature of +5 to +40 C. The motor is connected by using an itec plug, making it safe for industrial usage. It is painted with a non-glossy dark grey powder coating akin to RAL 7016, but this is not durable to chlorinated solvent-filled paint, such as trichlorethylene and thinners.
