The AM8121-0F21-0000 is a multipurpose low-voltage servomotor intended primarily for dynamic drive applications in cabins of high industrial demands. This motor operates under a voltage range of less than 50 V DC and provides a standstill torque of 0.50 Nm and a standstill current of 4.0A further enhances its properties for modern internal control applications.

The motor in a rated speed of 3000 min⁻¹ has special characteristics where applications requiring more of high speed and accuracy. Specifications include a 9 k6 shaft diameter with a flange size of 58 mm and with a compact motor length ‘1’ having 20 mm free shaft end for providing good torque. Another advantage of the motor is that it also can support enhanced OCT (One Cable Technology) because feedback transmission is possible through the motor cable so there is no need for feedback cable.

AM8121-0F21-0000 contains an 18-bit absolute encoder which allows the user to receive the position feedback with very high accuracy within one revolution. The unit is SIL 3 capable which guarantees its ability to provide the highest levels of safety for the systems especially those destined for use with TwinSAFE Safe Motion functions. The motor is CE approved and therefore adheres TO international safety quality and other regulations. A maintenance schedule is very important, as the ball bearings have an average lifespan of 30,000-h working hours under normal conditions. Every 2500 working hours or once in a year, the noise bearing test should be done for the bearings and if need be, bearing changed. For motors with optional shaft seal ring lubrication is required at intervals of 5000 working hours with “Mobilgrease FM 222”.
