The AM3031-0C21-0000 Beckhoff three-phase, synchronous motor belongs to the AM series and delivers a precise and reliable performance. The unit can be integrated with industrial robots or machine tools where precise controls are beneficial. The overall design comprises of thermistors in the stator windings to extend temperature monitoring and overload protection. It also consists of a permanent magnet installed in its rotor which is made up of neodymium material for optimal performance. The resolver feedback allows for precise rotor position and speed monitoring during operation for a consistent performance. The commutation process of the motor is implemented electronically since it comes without any brush integrated in design.
The synchronous, three-phased AM3031-0C21-0000 unit delivers a peak torque of 4.49 Nm with a 6.9 A peak current. The standstill torque and current figures are 1.15 Nm and 1.37 A respectively. The unit has a great rated performance with a rated torque and speed of 1 Nm and 5000 per minute. It operates with a supply voltage of 480 VAC with a torque constant 0.85 Nm/A and 0.330 kgcm^2 moment of inertia of rotor. The motor feedback is collected using EnDat2.1, resolver, BiSS and it uses M23 connection. It cools naturally and can operate in a temperature range of 5 to 40 degree Celsius.
