Product Description

The Beckhoff AM257L-0020 servo motor is designed for high-precision control and efficiency in industrial automation applications. Because it is reliable and works well, the motor is the best choice for difficult automation tasks requiring precise input and control.

A servo amplifier drives the AM257L-0020 servo motor with a three-phase rotor winding to ensure the actuator works correctly and quickly. The general input comes from a two-pole hollow-shaft resolver. Single-turn or multiturn encoders, which are optional, can be used to meet a wide range of operating situations. The motor has an IP64 security rating, and an IP65 shaft-sealing ring can be added to increase protection against water and other contaminants. At the shaft end, the servo amplifier can withstand circular loads of up to 650 N and axial loads of up to 650 N. The motor has an average speed (NN) of 3000 rpm, a steady current (IO) of 6.1 A, and can operate on voltages ranging from 400 to 480 V. Furthermore, the maximum power it can generate is 9.5 Nm. Regarding vibration class N and insulating material class F, the motor likewise meets DIN requirements. This indicates that it works effectively in temperatures ranging from 5°C to 40°C, but it performs less efficiently beyond 40°C or 1000 meters above sea level.

The AM257L-0020 motor has an extra holding brake with a 24V DC permanent magnet as an extra feature. This makes the setting safer when needed. To improve the accuracy of the feedback, the motor has a 6-pole resolver. The basic version does not have a holding brake. Building the motor to meet strict industry standards for insulation and vibration means it will work at its best, even in the toughest conditions. For a year, we'll replace any broken product for free, and we ship our products worldwide.
