The AL2418-0000-0000 is a three-phase linear servo motor that has been designed for precise motion control in areas where installation space is limited. The system is ideal for high-speed acceleration/decoration required. The motor is highly suitable for areas where dynamic motion and high-frequency reciprocating motion is required. The motor uses powerful permanent magnets. The permanent magnets are strongly attached to the magnet plate through a steel plate. The motor has a 24 mm magnet pitch. An inbuilt MES system interacts with the magnetic field produced the permanent magnets and generates electronically generated encoder signals. The system’s peak force is 720 N and its peak current is 12.3 A (N) and 25.1 A (S). The servo motor can generate a continuous force of 360 N in case of air circulation. At this value, a continuous current of 4.50 A (N) and 9.30 A (S) can be generated.
For temperature monitoring, a 1000 ohm PTC temperature sensor is provided. The sensor protects the device from thermal overload. This model weighs 2.3 kg and can generate a magnetic attraction force of 1300 N. The company has packaged a separate connector box with the servo motor. Encoder and motor lines (pre-assembled by the company) can be attached to one side of the connector box. On the other side, a thermal protection and feedback line have been provided. The motor is protected against mechanical wear that guarantees long operational life. With this model, a stiff control response is ensured because there is no backlash.
