The X67IF1121-1 I/O module is a carefully engineering module with a ton of capabilities to cater for most of the modern day automation requirements. The unit is designed by B&R Automation with an IP67 rated body and it belongs to its X67 series. The unit can be easily made to function in demanding industrial conditions with a diverse performance profile such that it can meet the needs of a simple machine or even a complex plant. It requires a minimum wiring for installation and moreover it comes with pre-assembled cables for efficient and quick installation or commissioning. The module has the capability of multiple expansions which allows it to give its user the freedom to plan many configurations without any limitations.

The X67IF1121-1 module supports a Sensor/ actuator supply current of 0.5 A and also features Status indicators for checking RS232, RS485/422, supply voltage, and bus function etc. The unit has 500 veff isolation voltage between the bus and the channel for reliable operation. The internal I/O power consumption is 2.4 W and the X2X consumption is 0.75 W. The unit supports a RS232 interface signal type with a maximum range of 900 m and a maximum baud rate of 115.2 kBit/s. It works with a nominal voltage of 24 VDC and operates normally in a temperature range of 0 to 60 degree Celsius.
