Product Description
The X20IF10D1-1/IP module facilitates the seamless integration of distributed X20 systems with industrial control networks using the EtherNet/IP protocol. As an EtherNet/IP scanner, it enables the control and monitoring of connected X20 I/O nodes directly from programming software or HMIs over standard Ethernet infrastructures commonly used in factories.
Equipped with dual RJ45 Ethernet ports, the module supports network configurations in ring, line, or star topologies, with maximum cable lengths of 100 meters. This flexibility in network implementation allows for straightforward integration without the need for additional switches in many machine and process applications. High-speed 10/100 Mbit data rates ensure that control and I/O remain fully synchronized across the plant floor or process line.
The module includes built-in diagnostic capabilities for rapid issue identification. Clear LED indicators continuously display the moduleEs operational status and data transfer activity over the Ethernet links. Additional diagnostics are available through standard Allen-Bradley and Rockwell software for more detailed troubleshooting if needed. Rated for a wide horizontal operating temperature range from -25 degrees C to 60 degrees C, the compact module can endure factory environments beyond typical office conditions. Even when mounted vertically, it functions within a range from -25 degrees C to 50 degrees C, making it suitable for demanding applications in restricted spaces. With a power demand of just 2W, the module minimizes excess heat generation in distributed installations. The direct adoption of the EtherNet/IP protocol ensures "plug and play" compatibility with a vast array of Rockwell, Allen-Bradley, and third-party Ethernet equipment, simplifying stocking and enhancing multi-vendor interoperability.
