The X20HB8880 is a hub controller module manufactured by B&R Automation. It is suited for data communication and control functions in demanding automation tasks. The module supports 2x, 4x or 6x Fast Ethernet hubs to suit different system requirements. It features modular construction that allows the connection of up to 2 hub expansion modules in addition to the hub base module. The unit is designed to provide high-speed communication and is suited for 100 Mbit/s Ethernet networks. The module is easily expandable to accommodate a wide range of application requirements offering users versatility in integration.

This controller has a typical power consumption of 2 W ensuring energy-efficient operation.
