The X20DO8331 of B & R Automation is a highly reliable digital output module that makes up the X20 Series, features a total of eight digital output channels that use an output current of 2 A nominal, thus making it possible to control an 8 A load current for a variety of loads and actuators of reasonable power. The module works at 24 VDC as standard voltage level which is quite typical for many industrial applications. This has thermal cutoff protection against heat to avoid damage, and current or short circuit damaging consequences.
