B & R Automation's X20 Series presents the X20DO4F49 module which is an efficient and versatile component for use in industrial automation systems. This module has a maximum voltage of 250VAC and has the bus power consumption of 1.1 W. A noteworthy aspect of the X20DO4F49 is the provision of status indications of the I/O function per channel, state of operation and status of the entire module. These indicators give the user an easy and direct way of determining whether the module is working or not thus helping in the diagnosis of any problems.

The X20DO4F49 has a current limiting of 8 Ampere per channel which makes it suitable to work with high load devices or sudden transient conditions. This model supports a maximum output current of 2 A at 240VAC per channel with the maximum output current capacity of 8 A at 240 VAC across all the channels. The contact resistance of the module is not more than 100m? and this helps in the effective operation of the module and low power consumption. It has high load carrying capacity with a stringent service life of 200000 cycles at 2A for NO&CO contacts and 30 million cycles mechanical for the same contact type.

Temperature ranges for operation are convenient for different conditions; the units designed for horizontal installation can operate in the range of -25 to 60 degrees C, while the vertical ones - in the range of -25 to 50 degrees C. For storage and transportation, the module is designed to operate in temperatures ranging from -40 to 85 degrees Celsius. The X20DO4F49 is housed in an IP20-rated enclosure, providing protection against accidental contact with internal components and larger solid objects.
