X20DO2649 is a relay output module. It has two output relays. The module is designed for X20 industrial automation systems from B & R Automation. Voltage rating of the relays is 240 Volts AC / 30 Volts DC. Terminal blocks used with the module must not be connected or disconnected when the voltage is applied. Failure to follow this precaution can lead to severe electric shock and injury. The X20DO2649 module must not be the last module connected to a X2X link network. A dummy module, such as the X20ZF, must provide protection against contact. Mixing of voltage class is not permitted on the terminal block. Only application of SELV or mains voltage is permitted. Diagnostics for the relay output is available via LED indicator.

Diagnostics for module error/run status is available via LED and software. Power consumption of the X20DO2649 module bus is 0.45 Watts. Actuators connected to the module can draw additional 2.5 Watts. Maximum voltage rating for the relay/changeover contacts is 264 Volts AC. The maximum switching voltage is 110 Volts DC / 264 Volts AC. The rated frequency for AC operation is 45 to 63 Hertz. The total nominal current is 10 Amps at 30 Volts DC and 10 Amps a 240 Volts AC. The nominal output current is 5 Amps at 30 Volts DC and 5 Amps at 240 Volts DC. The module requires an external power supply for actuators. The maximum inrush current value is 6 Amps per channel. The specified contact resistance is 50 milliohms. The low to high switching delay is less than 10 milliseconds. The high to low switching delay is less than 10 milliseconds.
