The X20CP3684 from B&R Automation is a powerful processor module that is ideal for use in industrial automation applications. This model is equipped with an Atom E3915 processor with a clock frequency of 400 MHz, which provides stable performance for a wide range of control tasks.
It has an LPDDR4 RAM of 512MB which helps in the quick retrieval of data for the execution of multiple applications, and for storing important data and applications it has an eMMC flash memory of 1GB. To meet the different communication requirements, the X20CP3684 has several flexible interfaces. It contains one RS232 interface for serial communication, one Ethernet interface for networking, one POWERLINK V2 interface for real-time Ethernet, two USB interfaces for peripherals, and one X2X Link interface for ease of integration with other B&R products.
