The X20CP1483-1 controller by B & R Industrial Automation is a compact entry level controller designed for efficient industrial automation. It supports a wide range of applications requiring reliable real time communication and modular interface expansion.
This X20 series controller features an Intel x86-based 100 MHz processor and integrated I/O processing capabilities. It offers one modular interface slot for additional connectivity along with CompactFlash as removable application memory. Ethernet, USB and POWERLINK interfaces are built in to enable seamless communication and real time data handling. The fanless design ensures low maintenance while diagnostics for CPU function, battery status and temperature are available via LED indicators and software registers. Its robust power supply operates at 24 VDC with integrated reverse polarity protection to ensure durability under varying industrial conditions. It consumes 6 W power without additional modules with an optional X2X Link power supply for enhanced flexibility. The integrated modular interface slot enhances its adaptability for system expansions. The controller features 64 MB SDRAM and 128 kB of user RAM. The model includes support for ACOPOS and Visual Components, a durable lithium battery with over three years of life, and integrated I/O processing for background data handling.
The X20CP1483-1 controller is highly compact and easy to install with dimensions of 150 mm x 99 mm x 85 mm and weighing only 300 g. Its real time clock, nonvolatile memory and robust data buffering capabilities ensure reliability over long operating periods. It can operate in both horizontal or vertical orientations. It supports installations up to 2000 m above sea level with IP20 protection for environmental safety.
