Product Description

The X20CMR111 belongs to B&R Automation's most advanced monitoring modules that work seamlessly with the X20 product family. The X20CMR111 functions mainly as a monitoring device, ideal for measuring both the temperature, moisture, and humidity inside the cabinet. Aside from ambient condition measurement, it also offers operating hour and power-on cycle monitoring. The beauty of using this product is that data may be stored directly in this module's integrated 512 kB flash memory. Instead of using a USB dongle, the X20CMR111 implements technology guarding to ensure license protection. Expanding the system becomes easier with this module because it provides 2 inputs for additional PT1000 temperature sensors, 2 digital inputs, and 1 digital output.

Like other monitoring modules by B&R under the X20 series, the X20CMR111 also supports blackout mode to prevent unwanted loss of data during network interruptions. During normal operating cycles, the X20CMR111's bus consumes 0.4 W, while the internal I/O uses 0.1 W. Overall, the estimated additional power dissipated by the physical actuators is 0.075 W. The equipped 512 kB flash memory inside the module can last up to 20 years (55 deg C) and is sectionalized into eight parts, each capable of storing 64 kB. The X20CMR111's technology guard has 10 million guaranteed write/erase cycles.

The X20CMR111's two digital inputs operate at a terminal voltage of 24 VDC with an input resistance of 6.4 kOhms. The extra temperature inputs, on the other hand, have a 12-bit digital converter and a range of -40 to 125 degrees Celsius. The internal temperature and humidity sensor also has a smaller temperature range between -25 and 125 degrees Celsius and a relative humidity range of 5 to 95%.
