Product Description
The X20CM8323 is a high-performance digital output module that is well-suited for industrial applications. It has eight digital outputs that are normally set at 24 VDC, thus making it ideal for controlling applications. The nominal output current for each channel is 0. 6 A, with the total nominal current carrying capacity being 4. 8 A, which enables it to work with a large current without any problem.
The output circuit is of the sink type, and the module offers pulse width modulation (PWM) capabilities with two options for period duration: 1 ms (1 kHz) or 20 us (50 kHz). The pulse duration can be set within the range of 0% to 100% and the available resolution is 1% which allows for better control over the output signals. The module is designed to withstand rush currents up to 2A with a maximum duration of 25. 5ms and it has a stable performance even in power conditions. In applications with inductive loads, the X20CM8323 provides a standby voltage of 39V DC when switching off to prevent the module and connected devices from being damaged. It operates within a wide temperature range depending on mounting orientation: The operating temperature is from 0 to 60 degrees C for horizontal mounting (Rev. >= G0), 0 to 55 degrees C (Rev. < G0), and 0 to 50 degrees C for vertical mounting.
The storage and transport temperature range are from -25 to 70 degrees C which is another proof of the module's ability to work in different conditions. The X20CM8323 has an IP20 degree of protection which means that it can protect against solid objects larger than 12. 5 mm from influencing its operation and is thus ideal for use in industrial control systems. The product is available at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
