The X20AO4632 module is the newest contribution to the X20 series offered by B&R Automation and is designed to provide accurate and stable analog output. This module has four analog outputs that can handle voltage signals in the form of ~10 V or current signals in the form of 0 to 20 mA. This is because such versatility makes it possible to use it in a large number of industrial control systems.
The X20AO4632 features a digital converter that runs at a 16-bit resolution to guarantee the reliability of its output data. This high level of resolution is used in intricate automation tasks where a high level of accuracy is required. The module also has the status indicators for the I/O function per channel, operating state, and overall status of the module and these help in the identification process. The power consumption is also well optimized, with this module using only 0. 01 W from the bus. Internal I/O power consumption varies with the module revision: 1. 8 W for revisions J0 and above, and 2. 2 W for earlier revisions.
