Product Description
The 2ME910.90-1 B&R Application Memory is a vital component of the B&R System 2010, offering robust memory capabilities for various processor modules like CP10x, CP2x0, and MP100. This module, introduced in 2010, features 64KB of SRAM and 256KB of FlashPROM, ensuring ample space for user applications and operating system data.
This module operates with PCC software, providing 64 KBytes of user RAM and 256 KBytes of user PROM. The FlashPROM can be programmed using onboard logic, with programming status indicated by an LED display. A write protection switch prevents accidental data overwrite. SRAM integrity is maintained by a gold foil capacitor or lithium battery, each with its own retention time up to two years for the gold foil capacitor and at least ten minutes for the lithium battery. The module can operate in various storage conditions: -20 to +70 C without the lithium battery, and -20 to +60 C with the battery installed. Maximum storage time without the battery installed is three years at 30 C.
Replacement procedures must comply with safety regulations, requiring the PCC to be powered off during lithium battery changes. Static electricity discharge precautions and removal of the power supply are necessary, followed by careful replacement using the provided removal ribbon and plug connection for safety. The temporary buffer of the gold foil capacitor ensures uninterrupted system operation during necessary changes. With dimensions of 122 mm wide, 32 mm high, and 103 mm tall, the module is compact and easily fits into existing systems. It is compatible with various processor types within the B&R System 2010, providing essential memory capabilities crucial for enhanced efficiency and reliability.
