Product Description
To efficiently manage power, the B&R 2EX301.5 Expansion Slave Module is made for the B&R System 2010 to divide the I/O bus into segments, achieving better scalability and efficiency in industrial automation. This 2010-released module allows an expansion master to easily interact with other I/O modules through seamless integration.
Moreover, this module presents one interface for connecting with an expansion master and uses two types of expansion cables: 1 meter (model number: 0G0010.00-090) and 2 meters (model number: 0G0012.00-090). The main function of the 2EX301.5 is transmitting data reliably over long distances within an automation setup. Only consuming a maximum power of 3 W, it can save energy, making it applicable in various industrial environments. In terms of size, this module measures height, width and depth = 285 mm, 40 mm and 185 mm, respectively, thereby making it compact enough to fit easily in any existing system without much hassle. BP202 is used as a base plate module for supporting stable installation and operation on this expansion slave.
BCD number dialing manages addressing for the module, setting the tens position module address by ten steps, thus ensuring non-interference between different bus segment addresses while displaying the start address on a seven-segment display so that it can be easily identified.
