The B&R 2BP101.3 Analog Input Module is a versatile and precise component designed for the B&R System 2010, aimed at fulfilling a wide range of industrial automation requirements. It has 16 power inputs introduced in 2010 with a baseline range of -20 to +20 mA & maximum/ minimum range of -30 to +30 mA which permits it to be flexible for different applications. The accuracy of data acquisition is guaranteed by its 12-bit resolution that enables high precision to be maintained in industrial processes.
Although this module does not have isolation between individual inputs, it features electrical isolation between the input and PCC, thus ensuring reliable performance as well as safety. Rapid conversion time for all channels is one millisecond making it suitable for applications with strict timing requirements. The 2BP101.3 module works with a load of 50 1/2 & a voltage drop of 1 V at 20 mA while its input filter has a cutoff frequency equal to 400 Hz which helps in reducing noise and improving signal integrity.
Measurement precision can be characterized as impressive when considering ~0.25% at 20C basic precision together with ~0.375% from 0 - 60C extended precision for this device.
