Product Description
The Analog Input Module 2AT300.6 B&R is an accurate and dependable component of System 2010, which was specifically made for temperature measurement applications. This module, which came out in 2010, has eight inputs for measuring resistance that are organized into two groups of four and is intended to be used with PT100 sensors through a three-wire connection. With its measurement range from -50 to +450 degrees Celsius, it can be applied for precise monitoring and control of temperatures in different areas.
Further precision is achieved by means of automatic linearization within the module as well as internal resolution amounting to 20 thousand steps. The total time taken for converting all channels is equal to one hundred sixty milliseconds while every channel needs thirty-three milliseconds for measurement, thus ensuring timely data acquisition. The reliability of measurements conducted with this 2AT300.6 device is improved through integration with converters; additionally, noise stability is guaranteed by applying the Bessel low pass second order input filter having an eight hertz cutoff frequency.
Electrical isolation between inputs and PCC, as well as between input groups but not among individual inputs themselves, prevents interferences and ensures safety though does not provide isolation from each other respectively. Basic accuracy at twenty-five Celsius degrees equals ~0.1%, whereas from zero up to sixty Centigrade degrees it accounts ~0.2%, that guarantees reliable operation over wide ranges of ambient temperatures during the work process. Measurement current remains at two milliamperes with ~0.2% accuracy thereby further increasing precision levels while energy consumption does not exceed nine watts so it saves power too; more so, compact sizes allow easy integration into existing systems since height measures 285 mm, width 40 mm, depth 185 mm.
