Product Description
The B&R 2AO300.6 Analog Output Module is a powerful and flexible element of the B&R System 2010 that can be applied in various areas of industrial automation. This module, which was launched in 2010, has got 16 bipolar voltage outputs ranging from -10 to +10 V, thus ensuring wide applicability. Each output is designed with 12-bit resolution making it possible for accurate control necessary to maintain precision in complicated industrial processes. There is electrical isolation between the outputs and PCC offered by this module so as to guarantee safety and performance reliability but no isolation between individual outputs.
The conversion time for all the outputs is only 250 microseconds hence this makes it good for applications where fast response time is required. The output filter of the module features low-pass design having a cut-off frequency of 1000 Hz, thereby reducing noise significantly while improving signal visibility.
Impressively, the basic accuracy of ~0.25% at 20C and ~0.5 % from 0 to 60C shows how precise this device can get. Its maximum load support stands at ~10 mA per output when working with a load equal or greater than 1 k1/2. Another important thing to note about this 2AO300.6 product is short circuit protection accompanied by current limit of ~15 mA which ensures safety measures are followed without compromising anything else apart from protecting itself against any damages that may arise due to such events. As far as power consumption is concerned, energy efficiency comes into play here because maximum power consumed by it is just ten watts making it useful even more in environments within industries where there might be constraints on electric usage. The physical size also contributes towards its flexibility since height measures about 285 mm while width takes up 40 mm and depth occupies 185 mm respectively. At least three types of base plates exist namely BP200, BP201, and BP210 which could be used together with this particular module thereby enhancing versatility during system configuration.
