This B&R 2AI700.6 Analog Input Module is not only strong but also flexible, it belongs to the B&R System 2010 that was launched into market in 2010 for various industrial automation needs. With a resolution of 12 bits this module ensures accurate data acquisition which is important for precision in most industrial processes.
The design of this device ensures safe operation as there is electrical isolation between input and PCC. However, there is no isolation between individual inputs on this product. All channels conversion time is just one millisecond which makes it fit for tasks where timing matters most. It works at a load of 50 1/2 and drops voltage by 1 V at 20 mA. The cutoff frequency of input filter is set at 400 Hz so as to reduce noise thereby improving signal integrity.
Basic accuracy for measurements using the 2AI700.6 stands at ~0.25% (at 20C) and ~0.375% (from 0 to 60C). At 50 Hz common mode signals can be suppressed up to about 40 dB courtesy of its common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) specification which aids in reducing interference from these types of signals with different modules installed in close proximity or even within same chassis but powered from separate supplies or phases. Therefore it can be said that this feature enhances noise immunity among other things.
