The flexible 3NC352.6 I/O module is equipped with various distinctive features like three route measurement inputs/outputs, three digital inputs, and one digital output. Users can see the status of the module via LED indicators and software, such as module status, position encoder, or output diagnostics. It consumes 1.7 W from a 24 VDC power supply and 2.3 W from a 5 VDC source, thus giving a total power consumption of 4.0 W when in operation. Just between the PLC and the inputs/outputs plus encoders, but not among encoders and inputs/outputs, electrical isolation exists. The CE, UKCA, and cULus (E115267) certifications indicate that this module meets industrial control equipment requirements.
These take up to sink input circuits that have a hardware input filter response time of ^212 us and are rated at a nominal voltage of 24 VDC. Other features include but are not limited to gate or period measurement, a 32-bit AB counter, and an event counter with 32 bits. The route measurement inputs and outputs are accessed through a female DSUB connection with nine pins, as well as having an initialization pulse width of 1.6 us.
