32 digital inputs that are 24 VDC and grouped into eight electrically isolated sets make the 3DI477.6 I/O module suitable for many industrial control applications. Each channel has an I/O function status indicator on it, which helps in monitoring and troubleshooting processes. The modules internal 5 VDC supply consumes a total of 1.5 W. Between input groups, and between channels and PLC, there is electrical isolation to ensure reliable and safe operation of the system. Digital inputs under consideration possess sinking or sourcing input circuits with hardware input filtering response time less than 1.2 ms to enable precise and rapid signal processing.
