The input/output module 3DI476.6/T is a one-wire device that handles for each of these 12 digital inputs a 24 VDC supply voltage. Additionally, it can be combined with other modules. Further, it shows all signals for each I/O channel and gives information about the modules operational state and general status. Moreover, this has got LED indicators for the status of every channel as well as software diagnostics for module run/errors and hence is an explicit monitoring solution.

Despite consuming up to 1.75 W of power internally within I/O of this module, the bus power consumption by this module is just 0.18W.
