Product Description
The 3CP152.90-2 packs an industrial-grade 2005 processor and 320kB RAM into a compact CPU module for reliable automation. It handles I/O signaling and communications for distributed control using integrated RS232, RS422, RS485 and expansion interfaces.
Built around a 1.5GHz 2005 CPU, this module brings device interconnectivity and data handling to automation systems. It provides 64kB of retain memory along with 256kB SRAM for information storage, monitoring, and control functions. Communication capabilities include an RS232 port, electrically isolated RS485/RS422/TTY interface, and expansion master port. These enable serial data exchange, daisy chaining via differential signaling, and connecting to distributed I/O modules. With its integrated physical layer ports and expansion bus, the 3CP152.90-2 facilitates communication between industrial controllers, sensors, drives, and other devices. It supports real-time control, collecting field data, and issuing supervisory commands.
Obtaining CE, UKCA, EAC, UL, and cULus approvals, this CPU module meets stringent standards for industrial controls. Rugged design allows operation at temperatures spanning -20 to 60 degrees C in panel-mounted enclosures. Compact dimensions and DIN rail mounting enable flexible incorporation into new and existing automation architectures. However, allow 20mm clearance on all sides for air circulation and access to interfaces. Backed by decades of B&R innovation, the feature-packed 3CP152.90-2 provides versatile data handling and industrial connectivity for intelligent, distributed automation implementations. Its security features also assist protection against cyber threats.
