In accordance with EN 60529, this level of protection IP20 renders it applicable in various industrial applications.

The 3BM150.9 can operate within a temperature range of 0C up to 60C, while it can be stored at -25C up to +70C. There are also chances that it may be exposed to temperatures beyond this range. It keeps on working without fail in any case, regardless of the humidity level which varies from 5% up to 95%. Operational settings specified below ensure that the module continues its effective work under different environmental conditions.

The physical configuration of the 3BM150.9 fits into System2005s single-width format; moreover, they can be attached either onto base units or extension units separately by themselves. That serves as an indication that it has enough flexibility making it possible for inclusion in existing industrial systems alongside their continuous operation without any interruption involved.
