Product Description:
The B&R System 2005 Analog Input Module 3AI780. 6 is a robust and versatile component designed for various industrial applications. In this module, there are provided 8 isolated single-channel current inputs with the highest resolution of 16 bits.
One of the inputs can accept a current signal that varies from 0 to 20mA making it ideal for use in areas that require high accuracy in signal measurement. It functions on a 24 VDC supply which maintains the performance of the module even when the voltage and current vary. The other worthy to note in this 3AI780. 6 is that it is electrically isolated for each channel obtained from the module supply. This design reduces or eliminates factors that may hinder data collection and guarantees precise data collection. Each channel of the module includes a dedicated analog-to-digital converter that further increases the module's accuracy and also minimizes crosstalk to levels below 1 LSB. To adjust the protection, every channel is safe from incoming voltage and reverse polarity up to 30 VDC and contains an overload LED indication. An analogous sigma-delta conversion is used in the digital converter which provides data in the INT format with the default input of 0 mA. The conversion time is fast and there is the continuous mode that works at 50Hz or 60Hz depending on the country you are in and there is also the trigger mode for special applications.
The input impedance of the module is of a maximum 400 within the signal range to avoid signal attenuation. The 3AI780.6 boasts a basic accuracy of ~0.05% at 25 degrees C, with a zero error of ~0.005% and an offset drift of ~0.001% per degree Celsius, ensuring consistent performance across various temperatures. The gain drift is kept to ~0. 007 % per degree Celsius and gives a stable and accurate reading. The product is available at Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
