The 7CX408.50-1 is a feature-packed 24 VDC remote input/output module designed to monitor and control equipment in industrial automation systems. This rugged, networked device integrates 16 digital inputs, 2 high-speed counters, and 16 digital outputs into a single compact unit. The digital inputs allow connection of 24 VDC devices like sensors and switches. These inputs can be configured as sinks to provide versatile field wiring options. For outputs, the module contains 12 protected transistor channels rated at a 0.4A current switching capacity for interfacing with indicator lights, small solenoids, and other low-power actuators.
