Product Description
The 7AT324.70 2003 Analog Input Module from B&R, part of the B&R 2003 module series, is designed to handle precise temperature measurements with four temperature inputs using a 2-line connection. Compatible with a variety of sensors, including the KTY10 sensor, which covers a temperature range of -50 to +150 degrees C. Additionally, the module supports the KTY84 sensor, suitable for measuring temperatures from -40 to +300 degrees C. For higher temperature ranges, the PT100 sensor is utilized, which measures from -200 to +850 degrees C. Similarly, the PT1000 sensor also supports a temperature range of -200 to +850 degrees C.
This module converts temperature values into numerical values for processing in the PCC. Regardless of resolution, these values are consistently presented in a 16-bit 2's complement format. This screw-in module is noted for its input type of resistance measurement using a 2-line procedure with constant current feed. Supporting up to 4 inputs, the module offers a digital converter resolution of 16 Bit and a measurement current of 200 ?A +/-5.22 %. Its repeat precision stands at +/-0.01 %, while the lowpass 1st order input filter has a cut-off frequency of 150 Hz.
The module boasts high common mode rejection capabilities, with >90 dB at DC and >150 dB at 50 Hz, enhancing measurement integrity. The value range for resistance measurement is adjustable per channel, with settings of G = 1: 0.1? to 5000.0? 0.05 and G = 2: 0.05? to 5000.0?. It maintains a maximum error of +0.1 % at 25 degrees C, with an offset drift of +/-2.5 m?/ degrees C and a gain drift of +/-30 ppm/ degrees C. This advanced module, requiring the separate order of terminal block TB712, epitomizes precision and reliability in industrial temperature measurement applications.
