M2N Multi Control Module Series

As machine designs grow more advanced, seeking higher speeds, tighter synchronization and modular flexibility, motion control demands increasingly sophisticated servo motor technology. B&R's M2N MULTI CONTROL MODULE series was created to meet this need for high-performance yet cost-effective electric actuators. The M2N MULTI CONTROL MODULE series integrates a high-resolution encoder directly into the motor housing, eliminating cabling and mechanical linkages. This delivers precise feedback and positioning data directly to the servo drive. M2N MULTI CONTROL MODULE motors also feature native EtherCAT communication, allowing them to connect directly to B&R's open motion control platforms without extra gateways or converters. Available in both linear and rotary configurations, M2N MULTI CONTROL MODULE motors offer a complete range of power ratings and mechanical options. Their compact footprint and IP65/67 protection allow use in space-constrained and wash-down applications. Special winding designs optimize motors for speed or torque requirements. Integrated holding brakes provide safe operation even in the event of drives failure or power loss.
