The ECPP60-01 module by B&R Automation is a high-performance parallel processor for the ECP Multi Control Series. It provides rapid data handling and control capability in industrial applications. This parallel processor enables simultaneous data processing across multiple channels. The module features a total of 11,264 registers, providing substantial data handling capacity for complex control tasks. 11,244 of these registers are remanent registers suited for ensuring data retention even after power cycles. It also has 20 non-remanent registers for temporary data processing, which reset upon power down for efficient handling of transient data. The module is designed with 42 KByte SRAM, providing 42 KB of instruction memory. This ensures that it can efficiently store and execute large instruction sets in high-demand tasks.

The ECPP60-01 module includes various options for interfacing with other devices. It comes with a versatile interface that supports RS485,RS232 and TTY protocols. The RS485 connection is electrically isolated, enhancing signal integrity in high-noise environments. The RS232 interface offers a simple and direct connection option, and the TTY interface comes with an electrically isolated receiver for secure data transmission.
