The B & R Automation ECCP40-01 is a type A MULTI CPU unit that provides efficient control and monitoring functionalities in automation systems. This module is optimized for large automation systems and comes equipped with 1,536 digital I/O and 256 analog I/O. This provides versatility in the management of a wide range of inputs and outputs ensuring efficient control of various signals in complex automation systems. The unit is also fitted with 64 software timers and a > for a seamless user experience. Users can get operational feedback and system performance data in real-time ensuring enhanced control and monitoring.

This module is equipped with a MOTOROLA 6303 processor and 16 KB of application program memory. This ensures reliable and stable performance in demanding applications. For ease of use, the CPU comes with a reset button which allows users to perform system reboots easily during maintenance or diagnostics. The module allows precise timekeeping for scheduling and automation tasks via the built-in software clock. This ensures reliability in time-sensitive applications. The unit also supports configurable timing pulses or cycles of 10 milliseconds, 100 milliseconds, 1 second, and 10 seconds. This feature enables precise timing for executing tasks, monitoring inputs, or controlling outputs.

For ease of connectivity, the ECCP40-01 module features 1 TTY online interface with an electrically isolated receiver. This interface facilitates real-time data transmission, allowing for efficient monitoring and control of processes. The interface is electrically isolated to prevent damage to the unit in case of voltage spikes. It also improves signal integrity by minimizing the impact of electrical noise. The online interface in the module can be used in MULTI/MIDI module racks enhancing its compatibility with various automation systems.
