DI Digital Input PLC Series

The DI Digital Input PLC Series from B&R Automation is a comprehensive line of modular digital input solutions for automated machinery and production systems. Ranging in configurations from 8 to 32 channels per module, DI Digital Input PLC Series I/O supports acquisition of signal states from an array of field devices including limit switches, sensors and controls. All DI Digital Input Series models integrate galvanic isolation of at least 500V for reliable operation in noisy plant environments. Software-selectable input filters optimize reading of input signal changes within tightly controlled response times. Input filtering helps isolate inputs from electrical disturbances to prevent erroneous machine control behavior. Modules employ either sinking or sourcing input types, allowing connection of various field device types directly without additional components. Extensive self-diagnostics and status LEDs on each channel streamline commissioning while providing visibility for ongoing monitoring of machine health.
