The developed 7 meters Motor cable 8CM007.12-1 is suitable for the industrial environment. The cable has a rigid construction and has been designed with cross sections of the conductors as power lines of 4 x 1.5mm^2, signal lines of 2 x 2 x 0.75mm^2, ensuring that it serves its purpose well in transmission of both power and signals. The 8CM007.12-1 is constructed to withstand considerable strain with a maximum working voltage of 1000 V and a test voltage of 1500 VAC between the wires and shields. The cable depicts a satisfactory conductance portrayed by the conductor resistance of: <= 0.1 ohm for the power lines and <= 0.13 ohm for the signal lines. The 8CM007.12-1 cable also exhibits very high dielectric strength with Insulation resistance exceeding > 28.57 G, hence very efficient in preventing excessive currents.
