They are modular units compatible with equally functional link modules to form these automation panel systems.

The 5AP1120.1214-000 is an AP1000 automation panel designed and manufactured by B&R. It is equipped with thermal sensors that form a temperature monitoring system to prevent damage by heat. It also has a 12”1 single-touch, analog-resistive display and a USB 2.0 interface on its front side. This USB interface carries the Type A design and has a transfer rate that ranges up to 480 Mbit/s. Additionally, it has a maximum current-carrying capacity of 500mA. The landscape format display of this automation panel by B&R has an SVGA resolution. In line with UL 50, the front part of this panel is also ideal for Type 4X indoor use only.

According to EN 60529, the Ingress Protection rating of the 5AP1120.1214-000 is IP 65 on the front and IP 20 on the back. This means that the penetration of the panel by dust or sprays through the front is impossible. However, only solid extrinsic objects of 12mm or more are prevented from entering through the back. A nominal voltage of 24V DC with a tolerance of ±25% and a maximum nominal current of 3A is required to operate this automation panel. In accordance with EN 61131-2, it belongs to the overvoltage category II.
