The APC2100 is an industrial controller module designed to integrate seamlessly with industrial systems used in automation of processes. Manufactured by B & R Automation, this controller is characterized by robust computing power owing to its high-powered Intel Atom E3800 processor. The module features Intel HD graphics delivering exceptional clarity. The controller is optimized for easy navigation and control with user-friendly Automation Runtime and Windows 10 IoT Enterprise operating systems. The controller comes in a small form factor that has minimal space requirements ensuring seamless integration with different system configurations. The controller utilizes passive cooling to maintain stable operation without risk of overheating or damage to the system.
This industrial PC offers versatility in connecting to other devices to match various application requirements. Communication interfaces available on this controller include 2x Gigabit Ethernet, 1x USB 2.0, 1x USB 3.0 and 2x RS422/RS485 interfaces. A CFast slot is also provided to allow users quick access to data storage for enhanced performance and reliability. For display connectivity, the system is equipped with SDL/DVI or SDL3 interfaces which are easy to connect to different monitors and display types. This PC offers optimal performance in environments with an ambient temperature of -20 to 55 degrees C.
The APC2100 controller has a rated power consumption of just 10W, making it ideal for applications that require an energy saving controller. This unit is compatible with most industrial systems since it requires the standard power supply of 24 VDC. The module is optimized to allow system customization depending on application demands. It supports fieldbuses such as POWERLINK and CAN which can be implemented via the modular interface modules. The compact CFast card on the unit is available with 60 GB or more.
