The B&R 8V1090.00-1 is an industrial drive. It belongs to the ACOPOS product line. The output power rating of the drive is 4 kilowatts. ACOPOS drives are widely deployed in the packaging industry, paper and printing, wood industry, textile and metalworking industry. ACOPOS drives are thoroughly tested during development. During testing the drives are subjected to loads that greatly exceed loads experienced during everyday operation. ACOPOS drives are modular products that support a wide range of plug in modules. Plug in modules are available for network communication, connection to visualization devices, encoders, actuators and sensors. CPU modules for drive and controller integration are also available. Operators can configure the drive from B&R Automation Studio software. Tasks such as transport, installation, commissioning and servicing of the drives are only permitted to be carried out by qualified personnel.

The 8V1090.00-1 drive has four slots for plug in modules. Input voltage range for the drive is 400 to 480 Volts AC (three-phase). The specified ambient temperature range is 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. The nominal operating altitude is 0 to 500 meters. Drive use outside these limit leads to output derating.
