Product Description
B&R’s ACOPOS servo drives demonstrate high functionality and ease of use with their state-of-the-art design and features. These modular devices can be adapted to suit a wide range of industry-specific applications with the aid of plug-in modules. Their typical areas of application include handling technology, plastics processing, and semiconductor technology.
The 8V1022.00-1 is one of the ACOPOS servo drives designed and manufactured by B&R. It can be integrated with the soft CNC system from this manufacturer, creating a cost-effective option with improved response speed, precision, and data throughput. This model features an integrated braking resistor and line filter according to EN 61800-3 to promote radio interference suppression. The braking resistor is controlled by an innovative technique that ensures the optimal and equal distribution of the brake power on the braking resistors when there is a DC bus connection between several units. This servo drive can be operated at switching frequencies of 5kHz, 10kHz, and 20kHz. It also requires a nominal frequency between 50Hz and 60Hz with a tolerance of ±4%.
Using an embedded motor parameter chip, the 8V1022.00-1 reduces the time taken for commissioning and servicing. This chip contains the relevant mechanical and electronic data and eliminates the need to set parameters manually. The ACOPOS servo drive can be programmed using the B&R Automation Studio for Windows, whose oscilloscope function can be used to monitor it in real-time. According to EN 60529, it is a product of the IP 20 protection category, indicating that it will not admit solid external subjects larger than 12mm. It is equipped with LED indicators to alert its users of faults and aid diagnostics.
