Product Description
B&R is a global supplier of world-class factory automation products that are suitable for a wide range of applications. The ACOPOS servo drives by the manufacturer are modular and flexible units used to operate synchronous and induction motors. These drives have been successfully used in several fields, including paper and printing, the semiconductor industry, handling technology, metalworking, and plastics processing.
The 8V1016.001-2 is a model of the ACOPOS servo drives designed and manufactured by B&R. It has partially coated circuit boards, giving it high resistance against adverse environmental factors including dust, moisture, and aggressive vapors. For its operation, it works with a three-phase mains nominal input voltage between 400V and 480V with a ±10% tolerance and a nominal frequency between 50Hz and 60 Hz with a ±4% allowance. The user-friendly Windows-based B&R Automation Studio software can be used to program this servo drive, and with its oscilloscope function, users can monitor the drive. There are also LED indicators on the device to provide information on its operating status and aid fault detection and rectification by users.
Like other ACOPOS servo drives, the 8V1016.001-2 allows the routing of the Powerlink network with reduced cabling expenditure. Due to a line structure with no ring, it supports minimal wiring. The use of additional infrastructure components is also not required in this connection, and it is synchronized to the drive control loop from the PLC program. A line filter is integrated into the ACOPOS servo drive to meet the limit values from CISPR11, Group 2, Class A. With its power failure monitoring mechanism, it detects power failures and starts the motor’s active braking.
