Product Description
The 8V1016.00-2 model is a high-performance servo drive designed for precision motion control applications. It is commonly used in industrial automation systems for tasks like controlling motors in robotics, CNC machinery, and other high-precision mechanical equipment. This product is part of B&R's line of industrial automation products.
The 8V1016.00-2 servo drive supports TT and TN network configuration while operating within an input voltage range of 3 x 400 VAC to 480 VAC with a ~ 10 % tolerance. It is also compatible with 3 x 230 VAC. The operating frequency of the drive of 50/60 Hz with a maximum installed load of 2.1 kVA and features an inrush current of 2 A at 400 VAC. The integrated line filter is compliant with EN 61800-3, category C3, and dissipates 110 W at nominal power without using a braking resistor. The DC bus capacitance is 165 uF while the 24 VDC power supply has an input voltage tolerance of +25%/-20%, a capacitance of 5600 uF, and a current consumption of up to 1.47 A.
For motor connection, the 8V1016.00-2 servo drive supports one motor with a continuous current of 1.6 A_eff. It allows for switching frequencies of 5, 10, and 20 kHz, with no reduction in continuous current at input voltages of 400 or 480 VAC and switching frequencies of up to 20 kHz. The peak current is 5 A_eff, and the maximum motor line length is 15 meters. The device also provides overload protection, short-circuit, and ground fault protection. The servo drive can support a motor holding brake with a response threshold of 245 mA and a maximum output current of 1.3 A. The braking resistor boats a peak power output of 2kW and a continuous power of 130W while in service.
