Product Description
The ACOPOS servo drives are designed by B&R as essential parts of innovative complete automation systems. The devices exhibit extensive functionality and can be configured for various applications. These include electronic gears, cutting units, and flying saws. The ACOPOS servo drives are commonly used in the packaging industry, wood industry, metalworking industry, and textile industry.
The 8V1010.501-2 is a servo drive model in the ACOPOS series. It features three slots for plug-in modules and has a switch-on interval of less than 10 seconds. It also requires a three-phase or one-phase AC supply voltage of 110V to 230V with a tolerance limit of ±10%. This servo drive can be connected with braking resistors to eliminate excess energy. It also offers short circuit and ground fault protection to servo motors. Like other ACOPOS drives, it is best installed in an IP 54-rated control cabinet. This control cabinet protects it against dust ingress and damage by water sprays. The servo drive can be commissioned with the B&R automation software tool.
The maximum output current of the 8V1010.501-2 for a motor brake is 1.3A. It is designed to function in adverse environmental conditions, and its operations are navigated with a graphical display. For storage, the device is best kept in a dry space with a temperature range of -25°C to 55°C. It also has an Ingress Protection rating of IP 20; thus, it is completely protected against penetration by external solid objects with a diameter of 12 mm or more. This servo drive features three limit switch and reference inputs, and according to IEC 61800-3 standards, its integrated line filter is a product of Category C3.
