Product Description
The ACOPOS servo drive family is manufactured by B&R Industrial Automation GmBH. It works with a very short sampling time because it is capable of fast and precise reactions to changes in the production process. These drives can be configured for demanding position tasks such as electronic gears or cam profiles. ACOPOS servo drives have access to multiple technology-specific functions with remarkable performance, flexibility, and capability. They are used in applications requiring point-to-point movements, electronic gears, differential gears, cutting units, electronic cam profiles, flying saws, line shafts, and CNC.
Using the Windows-based B&R Automation Studio tool, the 8V1010.50-2’s commissioning is quick and easy; this is supported by its embedded motor parameter chip. The servo drive has increased reusability due to object-oriented programming that minimizes the development time. It can be connected to all standard encoder systems and modular Fieldbus interfaces. The servo drive is used for the operation of various models of synchronous and induction motors.
The 8V1010.50-2 is designed for operation on a single-phase or three-phase power mains with 110 VAC to 230 VAC +/-10%. It is equipped with a 24V DC external supply voltage which serves as backup power. This servo drive has a protection rating of IP 20; hence it is protected against penetration of solid objects larger than 12.5 mm and touch from fingers. It is designed to be installed in a control cabinet with a protection rating of at least IP 54. Its degree of pollution in line with EN 60664-1 is Class 2. It should be operated at an ambient temperature between 5°C to 55°C and a non-condensing relative humidity between 5% to 85%.
