Product Description
A wide range of high-performance applications can be carried out simply using the 8LS three-phase synchronous motors from B&R. They are available in various lengths and sizes and come fitted with highly precise encoder systems. Some fields where these motors are used include the metalworking, packaging, and food industries.
The 8LSA57.D0030D000-1 is an 8LS three-phase synchronous motor with a nominal speed of 3,000 revolutions per minute. It is a permanent-magnet servo motor with a single-turn encoder that uses the optical measuring principle. This encoder has the EnDat 2.2 interface and records the absolute, indirect possession of the motor within one mechanical rotation. The motor is a self-cooling type, and it is equipped with a built-in angled connector. Its power and encoder connections are made with separate cables. This 8LS model is connected to its machine via a mounting flange that acts as a cooling surface. It does not have oil sealing or a holding brake. The nominal torque that can be generated by the motor is 17.5Nm, and it has four pole pairs.
A water-based varnish serves as the coating for the 8LSA57.D0030D000-1. This eco-friendly option protects the motor from corrosion and harmful environmental agents. The shaft end here is a smooth type that is used to achieve a force-fit shaft-hub connection for a backlash-free connection and smooth operation. There are also lubricated grooved ball bearings that are sealed on both sides in this motor. One major feature of this synchronous motor is its large overload capability, which makes it suitable for universal applications. It is also easy to service and displays high-level controllability due to optimized torque rippling.
