Product Description
The 8LS three-phase synchronous motors are produced by B&R and are designed for high-performance applications. There is a large variety of 8LS motors; hence the series provides options ideal for several applications. Typical uses of these motors are present in the packaging industry, metalworking industry, and beverage and food industry.
The 8LSA35.EB030D000-3 is a model in the 8LS three-phase motor series. It features an EnDat 2.1 encoder that uses the inductive operating principle. This motor encoder has a multiturn configuration and records the rotor's position within 4096 revolutions. Due to its compact construction, the motor has a low weight and optimal power density. It also requires little effort during servicing. Its nominal speed and torque stand at 3,000 revolutions per minute and 2.1 Nm, respectively. This 8LS model is also a self-cooling motor; hence it dissipates heat by natural convection. It also has a torque constant of 1.45 N/mA and a voltage constant of 87.96 V/1000 rpm.
A smooth shaft end is available on the 8LSA35.EB030D000-3, which enables a force-fit and backlash-free connection between the shaft and the hub. Like other 8LS three-phase synchronous motors, this unit also features a KTY83-110 temperature sensor that aids in the prevention of thermal overloading. The mass of the motor is 4.4kg, and its thermal time constant is 34 minutes. It also features a water-based coating that protects against metal corrosion and rusting. During operations, it requires a space with a maximum temperature of 55°C. Its ideal storage is a condensation-free space with a temperature range of -20°C to +60°C. Its maximum installation height is 2000m above sea level.
