The ACOPOS P3 servo drive is a part of the 8EI series produced by B&R Automation and the specific model 8EI8X8HWD10. 0500-1 is designed to address various industrial automation needs with the following features and specifications.

The system is powered by a 24 VDC ~25% power supply and can work with different power systems. The unit supports three motor connections, each capable of 4 kW continuous power and 8.8 A continuous current, with settings adjustable based on switching frequency and elevation. For braking, the drive has internal and external resistors with peak powers of 7 kW and 25 kW, respectively, as well as short-circuit protection and other safety measures. Powerlink V2 controlled node is used for communication with a transfer rate of up to 100 Mbit/s and a maximum segment length of 100 m between two stations.
