8BVE Servo Drive Series

The 8BVE Servo Drive series from B&R expands the capabilities of ACOPOSmulti multi-axis servo drives with additional high-performance modules. Each 8BVE Servo Drive module integrates a 50A continuous servo amplifier and advanced motion control functions. The high-power density is optimized for demanding packaging machines, material handlers, assembly systems and other process automation requiring extensive synchronized coordinated motion. Customers have the choice of cold plate or pass-through mounting configurations with the 8BVE Servo Drive series. The cold plate variant is suited for applications where heat dissipation is critical, efficiently transferring thermal loads away from the drive. Alternatively, the pass-through design simplifies daisy chaining multiple modules in tight enclosures. As expansion units for ACOPOSmulti masters, 8BVE Servo Drive modules deliver fully synchronized motion control at the slave nodes. They support all ACOPOSmulti features including registration markers, electronic gears and cam plates for complex motion profiles. The open POWERLINK protocol also provides free configuration of distributed drive topologies.
