It is also capable of assessing encoders with symmetrical push-pull outputs, as well as rapid sensors with digital output, such as tracer pins.

The 8AC0123.002-1 module offers reliable performance, with an encoder supply voltage of +24 V. It features a connection for a temperature sensor, enhancing its adaptability for different operational environments. The module occupies Slots 1 and 2, and its maximum power consumption is calculated as PModule [mW] = 25 V * (IEncoder [mA] + 60 mA], ensuring efficient energy management.
