80VD Inverter Module Series

The 80VD Inverter Module series from B&R is a portfolio of versatile integrated inverter modules equipped with an ACOPOSmicro scalable servo drive. The series targets cost-conscious motion control and multi-axis coordination applications ranging from smaller pneumatic spindles to larger robotic systems. Each 80VD Inverter Module packs an ACOPOSmicro drive with POWERLINK connectivity, enabling synchronized motion of up to 128 devices on a single network. They operate from a wide-range 24-64VDC supply and provide 2 motor connections with continuous currents up to 8A. Additional features include support for dual EnDat 2.2 encoders to realize applications requiring primary and secondary feedback. The 80VD Inverter Module modules also include 2 digital inputs that can serve as trigger signals, 1 digital output, and detachable plug-in terminal blocks. An encoder backup battery can be ordered separately to safeguard reference positions during power loss. Their compact design with integrated components streamlines cabinet space and simplifies machine wiring. The 80VD Inverter Module series delivers precise motion profiles and coordinated multi-axis motion from a single robust and cost-effective inverter module.
