The 80SD100XD.W044-01 is a highly effective stepper drive for industrial automation tasks, which will, at the very minimum, command two motors with accuracy and versatility. It has a wide input voltage range of 24-64 VDC ~25% and 10 A continuous current, which enables it to be employed in high resilient tasks.

The drive supports the X2X Link interface as a communication medium for the automation network. It can also support a pair of 24 V incremental encoders, which are essential in facilitating position feedback for the motors. The manufacturer also fitted the drive with two motor connections, which enables the user to achieve dual-axis control. There are also two digital inputs (24 VDC, sink), which can be used as trigger inputs, and one digital output (24 VDC, 1 A) that can be used to control external devices. For the purpose of effective thermal management, i.e. operation under high loads, a heat sink is also provided. The only limitation to making this connection on this unit is that terminal blocks have to be purchased additionally.

In addition, the drive is, however, certified to standards CE, UL, and IP67 thus making it resistive to dust and water making it suitable in rough industrial settings. It can also be mounted together with the ACOPOS Servo Drive 8Vxxxx.00-x (model 1090) to improve operational functionalities related to motion control. Only 0.9 kg is the brake system weight, and the 80SD100XD.W044-01 is thus able to provide enough holding force for motor applications, being an effective and accurate solution for industrial motor control.
